Grade: Grade 4 pt. 5 – 6 (£24,790- £25,183 pro rata) Actual Salary £17,365

Forsbrook Nursery and Out of School Club is an outstanding nursery situated within Forsbrook CE Primary School. We offer care and education for children aged from 8 weeks to 5 years, term-time only between the hours of 7.30am – 5:30pm.

We are currently recruiting to the post of an Extended School Edu-Carer to start 01.09.2025. This is a fixed term contract to 31.08.2026 with a possibility to extend beyond this date.

You will be required to work across all of the nursery rooms from 0 – 5 years and will also include work within the out of school club. The successful applicant will have at least 2 years’ experience of working with under 0 – 5’s and will be qualified to at least NVQ 3 Level or equivalent. The post would be particularly suitable for candidates who are keen for further professional development and who may be considering a future career in early years or teaching.

The hours of work will be between 7.30am – 5:30pm Monday – Friday, Term Time Only. Hours to be discussed at interview stage. Interested applicants should contact Mrs Turner, Nursery Lead on 01782 392577 for further discussion.

Forsbrook CE Primary School are seeking to appoint 2 enthusiastic and motivated individuals, who are passionate about making a difference to the lives of children.

We require x2 1:1 class teaching assistants to work within our reception class who will support their class teacher in the delivery of a bespoke curriculum. We require a person who has experience in working with children with additional needs.

One 1:1 TA is required from 04.06.2025 and one from 01.09.2025. Both posts are full time, temporary to 31.08.2026

The successful candidate must have high expectations about what children can achieve as well as being able to demonstrate a strong commitment to the life of the school and the ability to work in a team.

  • Displays excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Has the ability to work in partnership with parents, teachers and other external support agencies.
