We were incredibly proud of our Year 6 pupils following a very special visit to the Dementia Café at Dougie Mac.
Nine of our children spent the afternoon supporting guests with arts and crafts activities, taking the time to chat, listen and share moments of friendship with members of the local community. Their kindness, confidence and compassion shone through as they helped to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone involved.
The children also shared their talents by performing two songs and dances from our recent Shakespeare Rocks production, bringing smiles, laughter and joy to the afternoon.
Experiences like this are a wonderful reflection of our school values, giving our pupils the opportunity to serve others, build meaningful connections and make a positive difference in the lives of those around them.
We are incredibly proud of the maturity, empathy and confidence shown by our Year 6 children. They represented Forsbrook CE Primary School beautifully and demonstrated the importance of kindness, community and caring for others.
