Queen Elizabeth II

To the longest-serving British monarch, on the throne for 70 years, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll. On behalf of Forsbrook Church of England Primary School, the Worship Committee would like to pay tribute.

It is with the greatest sadness that we mourn the passing of our Queen. After a long life of Christian faith, proudly commenting that Jesus Christ was your inspiration, and a lifelong duty and service to our country, a great light has gone out.

To us you were a role model, giving us hope and courage through the difficult times even in our lifetime. It was through Covid you gave us hope that we would see our loved ones again and it was through your courage that we saw countries come together in unity through the Commonwealth. You were an extraordinary person.

Before you ascended to the throne, you stated that your whole life, whether it be long or short, will be devoted in service. This promise you did honour.

We are proud to have called you our Queen and feel privileged to have been led by you. We will miss you greatly, the world will miss you greatly and your life of service will echo through the ages. We will be forever grateful and will remember you as the greatest monarch of all time. God bless.
