What an exciting half term we had in Reception class.
Learning all about the lifecycle of a butterfly, we took great care of our lovely caterpillars before they turned into butterflies and were set free in our eco garden.
We learnt how to care for our lovely beaches through the fabulous story Clem and Crab by Fiona Lumbers. We talked about our special beach holidays and wrote about what we like to do when we go on holiday.
In maths, we explored the 5 and a bit concept and furthered our knowledge of shapes by exploring 3D shapes.
We started swimming and quickly developed our skills in the water.
We also got creative and enjoyed drawing observation pictures of flowers and trees.
