What a special day we have had at school today where we got to be the host and link up with others schools and lead a Spiritual Development day.
Our amazing team from St. Peters church and our wonderful Worship Committee members led activities that helped us to take time from our busy lives to stop and connect with God. The day followed onto the children learning to sign worship songs which was led by our lovely Mrs Riley. But the fun filled day didn’t stop there, it continued at St. Peters church as the children learnt about the history of the church and who St. Peter was, followed by a hunt to discover items around the church and learn more about the significance of each. The children were able to go on a prayer filled labyrinth walk, A Journey to the Cross, and reflect upon the love that God has for the world that He gave His son, Jesus.
