The sun started shining this half term and we had a wonderful time becoming minibeast experts by exploring the great outdoors.
Deep diving into the famous Eric Carle story ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ we learnt all about the lifecycle of a butterfly and enjoyed retelling the famous story ourselves as a wonderful writing challenge.
In maths we looked at how quantities can be shared into equal amounts and also looked at doubles and halving.
As we became minibeast experts we looked closely at the different features of minibeasts and were able to group and sort these accordingly.
Moving away from minibeasts, we had a great time putting on our first ever class assembly for our families, friends and teachers to see… everyone was so proud of us!
