What an AMAZING day Year 3 had on the Derby Faith Trail!
Our adventure started at the Derby Open Centre and took us through a fascinating exploration of different cultures and beliefs. First, we awakened all of our senses with a visit to a Hindu temple, where we had the incredible opportunity to witness a special prayer ceremony and even receive prasada (a delicious food offering)!
Next, we explored a beautiful Islamic mosque, where we learned all about the 5 Pillars of Islam.
Finally, we returned to the centre for an interactive workshop where we dressed up in traditional Islamic clothes and tasted some yummy Islamic foods!
What a day filled with learning, exploration, and cultural discovery!
