What an adventure we have had today. We were transported back in time to live as Stone Age people and learn all about life in pre-history times.
We learnt how to make fire using flint, made Stone Age drawings using natural materials, created Stone Age bowls to keep our foraged berries in and created shelters which were tested for their weatherproof properties. We finished by creating tracks for other hunter-gatherer tribes to find bison or a shelter.
We have spent all day outside and it has been wonderful (albeit a little messy, sorry parents). The children were beautifully behaved and it has been a pleasure to see them all interact as teams working together on their projects.
Well done Year 3!
