Wow what a great start it’s been to our learning journey here at Forsbrook.
There has been plenty of love, learning and laughter since day one here in Reception Class. In our learning, we have enjoyed exploring the lovely story Peace at Last by Jill Murphy, retelling and role playing the story with our friends. We have started to form letters and write the initial sounds that we hear in words, learning how to hold a pencil comfortably and correctly.
In our phonics learning, we have started to recognise letters and blend sounds into words, we will keep working hard to become Blending Masters by Christmas.
In our maths learning we have started to subitise and explore the composition of numbers to 5, our counting puppet has challenged us to count carefully and tricked us by making counting mistakes! Luckily, we can expertly spot counting mistakes because we are Marvellous Mathematicians.
In the great outdoors we have enjoyed exploring our lovely garden and looking for signs of autumn. This half term we have truly become special members of our Forsbrook Family.
