What a wonderful time of the year it was this half term for Reception Class!
Lots of special Christmas events took place and we were very busy bees… a Christmas pyjama party, performing our nativity play, meeting Father Christmas and saying hello to Dasher and Dancer the reindeer just to name a few of the exciting activities!
In between our action packed schedule we wrote a wonderful letter to Santa, telling him what good boys and girls we have been this year.
We had a great time exploring prepositional language with teddies and counting developing our number knowledge in our maths learning.
We got stuck into the creative Christmassy spirit and had a go at making lots of Christmas themed decorations. We made so many that we were able to decorate our classroom Christmas tree!
We were also busy strengthening our hand muscles, developing our fine motor skills through a range of daily activities.
