Wow what a wonderful start we have had to our learning journey at Forsbrook Primary School!
This half term we have fully immersed ourselves into school life, exploring everything that Reception Class has to offer. We have developed lots of lovely friendships during our short time in school and enjoy spending time with our friends each and every day.
During this half term we have started learning phonics, developing our skills in letter recognition and segmenting and blending words. We have developed our writing skills by beginning to draw pictures, form some recognisable letters and having a go at writing words.
In maths we have challenged ourselves to count forwards and backwards to 20 and explored numbers to 5, learning simple addition within 5.
In science we have loved learning all about our bodies and exploring our five senses with super fun activities.
In other areas of learning we have created marvellous Pablo Picasso style self portraits and used iPads to take photographs of our own amazing work.
