World Book Day Dress Up day

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are excited to announce that this year, in celebration of the National Year of Reading, our school will be dedicating an entire week to mark World Book Day!

To kick off the week, children are invited to come to school dressed as their favourite book character on Monday 2nd March. Please ensure that costumes are linked to primary age-appropriate books rather than films or computer games.

Please don’t feel the need to go our and buy a costume—simple, homemade outfits or creative use of items you already have at home are absolutely fine. We want this to be a fun and stress-free experience for everyone.

Throughout the week, we have planned a range of engaging, book-related activities to inspire a love of reading and storytelling. We will share more details about these activities closer to the time.
