I’m Xanthe and I was elected as a Parent Governor in December 2023. I’ve lived in Blythe Bridge and now Forsbrook since 2014 with my husband Carl and our 4 children. Our eldest has recently moved up to the high school and our 3 girls are still at Forsbrook Primary.
Professionally, I graduated in 2004 with a degree in Graphic Design and spent 10 years working in the creative artwork and digital marketing industry. After the birth of our twin girls in 2015 I became the main home-keeper as well as a full time carer. I am eager to support Forsbook Primary and the Governing Board with not only my professional experience, but also my personal experience with SEN. Two of my children have life-long disabilities and I’ve been a chronic pain sufferer for most of my life.
In my spare time I love to express my creativeness with interior design and D.I.Y and I’m always looking for my next “project”. My hobbies include acrylic nail art, home organisation and creating birthday cakes for my children. I also keep Royal Pythons. I’m definitely a home girl and enjoy nothing more than a cosy night in front of the log-burner, with a glass of red and a Netflix box set!
