What an amazing half term!
This half term we dived straight into the wonderful world of dinosaurs. We went on a journey of discovery, becoming palaeontologists and learning all about fossils (even creating our own fossils!).
Our writing skills have continued to flourish and we have been busy writing lots of different genres such as narratives, letters, facts and our dinosaur names! In maths we became super number experts exploring the composition of numbers to 5 and 10. We loved exploring positional language and directions… we successfully followed directions to find Mrs Collins in the library!
In Art we used our super skills to draw a dinosaur, this was an observational drawing. We took our time to create our best work.
In Science we became super underwater experts, learning all about what lurks beneath the water.
During our music lessons we enjoyed performing nursery rhymes then watching our performances back on the television screen, it was like we were at the cinema!
