It was certainly the most wonderful time of the year this half term for Reception Class!
Lots of special Christmas events took place and we were very busy bees… a trip to the pantomime, performing our nativity play, meeting Father Christmas and going on a candy cane hunt just to name a few! In between our action packed schedule we wrote a wonderful letter to Santa, telling him what good boys and girls we have been this year. We had a great time exploring 2D and 3D shapes in our maths learning, we even had a go at making 2D shapes using marshmallows and dry spaghetti… it was a bit tricky! We also had a great time learning to ride a balance bike, we developed our balancing skills and negotiated obstacles along the way.
