This half term Reception Class had a wonderful time exploring the great outdoors.
They learnt all about metamorphosis and observed caterpillars change over time into beautiful butterflies. The children learnt about a caterpillar life cycle and enjoyed writing a retell of the great story, The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
Reception class have well and truly caught the writing bug this half term as they have branched out to writing lots of different genres… stories, facts, letters and much more!
In Maths they have become number bond to 10 experts, engaging in lots of number bond games and challenges. They have also explored odd and even numbers and also money during Money Matters Finance Week.
